Access Free Yahoo! Mail with Windows Mail Using YPOPs! (Simple and Free)

o set up a free Yahoo! Mail account in Windows Mail using YPOPs!:

• Install YPOPs! and make sure it is running.
• Open Windows Mail.
• Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in Windows Mail.
• Click Add... .
• Make sure E-mail Account is highlighted.
• Click Next .
• Type your name.
• Click Next .
• Enter your Yahoo! Mail address under E-mail address: .
• Click Next .
• Make sure POP3 is selected under Incoming e-mail server type .
• Enter "localhost" under Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server: .
  • If "localhost" turns out not to work, try "127.0.0.1" instead.
• Type "localhost" under Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name: as well.
  • If "localhost" turns out not to work, again try "127.0.0.1" instead.
• Click Next .
• Type your Yahoo! Mail user name (your Yahoo! Mail address without "@yahoo.com") under E-mail username: .
• Enter your Yahoo! Mail password under Password: .
• Click Next .
• Click Finish .
• Click Close .
